Cassillis - Maybole

This cozy little restaurant was a great find for us when our bus broke down on the way to the Rangers match. We went here to wait for a replacement and were warmly welcomed.

The afternoon started off great until there was a shift change at 9pm when children were no longer allowed in. The change of shift meant that minors were not allowed in because there was no function happening. It seems that the policy on allowing minors in was inconsistent and this was frustrating for the reviewer. They have decided not to return because of this inconsistency.

I had an excellent pint of Guinness at this restaurant.

This restaurant is a great place to grab a drink and have a conversation. The pool table is free to play, and the staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable.
