Darshana's Curry & Tea House

Ordered food here online. Said it will take 20 minutes, upon arrival waited a further 40 minutes for the food. I had fried chicken, 8 dollars and only had like 5 pieces. I wouldn't complain if it were decent size but it were only less than bite size pieces *size comparable to kfc chicken popcorn. Had the butter chicken for $20 dollar a serving; it was well over price if not expensive. I  gave the extra one for 2 out off five overall as the spice and flavors were there.  Will not recommend  or come again. I live near Mawson lakes ,acutally 2 min drive from the place. I will rather from now on travel to Indian tempatation to eat Indian with main dishes averaging 10 to 12 dollars.  Oh, naan bread was very dense and doughy.

Fairly amateur. I ordered the meat platter. Chicken seemed under cooked and the lamb and beef had definitely come out of a freezer. They had a gritty consistency. The Lassi's were nice. Service was friendly and timing was good but the food, in general, was a disappointment.

Inedible seafood platter, as if reheated from days before (really tough with strong fishy smell) - rest tastes like it comes from a jar with barely any meat in the curries. Called to let them know and offered a full refund then refused full refund on arrival??? Two hours of our life we will never get back and still hungry

Pretty average... I waited for half an hour for my food when it wasn't even busy. The Eggplant Chilli was wayyyy too oily and I'm suspect that the sauce is from a packet. Ordered the vegetarian Biryani which was supposed to come with 'vegetables, raisins, onions and peas etc' - all I got was rude and carrot with one bean. No raisins or peas or any other vegetable - also really oily. They need to understand what vegan is and allegories too. The aroma and taste of these dishes was good apart from these things. Not happy paying the price I did for these though.

Very good food and good service. Although a number of the listed beers and wines were not available, the chilli goat and lamb biryani were excellent - I am surprised to see negative reviews of the food.
