Shipwreck Bay - Mauston

I would describe this restaurant as a supper club with moderate prices, but the food was served in a cardboard container, akin to something you'd get at a fast-food drive-thru. Given the prices, I expected the food to be served on proper plates, not in cardboard. Having worked in the restaurant industry for 35 years, I found this level of service unacceptable. Overall, everything felt disorganized and chaotic. We would not recommend this restaurant.

Beautiful view of the lake, friendly staff, and great food. I had an amazing drink called the Lakeside but I am docking a star simply because the price wasn't listed and it was kind of expensive which I wish I would have known in advance. My fault for notasking but just the same. Beautiful restaurant/bar and I can see why its so popular in the area!

I had a cheeseburger and fries, and I can honestly say it was one of the best cheeseburgers I've had in a long time. It was simply amazing! The fries and cheese curds were excellent, and our waitress was fantastic as well. Thank you for the great food and service. It's been many years since my last visit, and I definitely need to come back!

My first visit to the restaurant was decent, but my second experience was very disappointing. They were out of several items on the menu, the drinks were excessively sweet and not well-mixed, and we were served our food in takeout containers instead of plates, making it feel more like a food truck than a sit-down restaurant. To top it off, our waitress had a poor attitude and was not attentive at all throughout our meal.

Stopped in again tonight, as we do regularly when on the lake. Outside of this usually being the best place on the lake for food, drink, and or music, i have to give a huge shout-out to the staff tonight. Clearly they were severely understaffed, thewaitresses were literally running. On top of that, the food was possibly the best we've ever had there. It was so busy we feltbad for the few waitresses that were there but they were awesome tonight.
