Taqueria Simon - Mauldin

Simple, no frills restaurant with tasty food. I ordered a chicken burrito and received a flavorful chicken burrito with rice, beans, ettuce, tomatoes, guacamole, and jalapeños wrapped tightly in foil/paper covering and sliced crosswise. This thing was more than a meal's worth! My wife had a chicken chimichanga and said it was delicious. It was definitely appealing to the eye. Will return to try the tacos!

They charged me way more than the price on the menu. I discovered this after I had ordered and went to pay. An advertised $9 fajitas plate was magically $12 at the time to pay. That is a 1 third increase in price 33%!! Not acceptable and I question the legality of such a move.Also the place is filthy.

It is a very nice, clean restaurant. I belive it is family owned, anyways the food delicious. Home made tortillas. AkA they make them there.. first time I visit this place and can honestly say I will definitely be coming back..

Came here today for the first time and ordered a lot of food. The five stars is just for Daniel himself. Daniel was very knowledgeable and helped me order. I will definitely come back here just for the hospitality. I’m sure the food is great as well. Can’t go wrong with homemade Mexican food. Thank you Daniel

I went here for the first time today. Have lived in the area from '06 to now, lived in Mauldin for the last 6 years. I have taken my dogs to get groomed and shirts to be tailored at the same strip yet never tried it. I have been missing out! But today will not be the last time we go there. They were not super busy so our service was great. Quaint, nice little Mexican restaurant with good food and good service. Green sauce was the bomb!
