Scheffelhof - Maulbronn

After visiting the Maulbronn Monastery with maul pockets for lunch and the purchase of Easter eggs it was time to find a place to get a glass of wine. george and timo close after lunch, but we talked about having a drink. what a great host. timo makes an extraordinary negroni to boot. we spent a few hours chatting with them. george gave us a tour and told us that we need to come back to stay in the connected six room b

After we have just finished a tour through the Maulbronn Monastery, where we learned about the Swabian maul bags or little God cheese, we have been looking for some who are trying. the legendary says that, although the chistercian orders were forbidden to eat meat, at a point some chop meat was delivered to the closter and feared wasted, the cook mixed it with greens and seasoned and fill pasta bags with. the first restaurant we chose made them. they were served in warm broth and the dish we enjoyed in the scheffelhof was delicious. the gracious owner told us that they were the recipe of his mother. the restaurant was very clean, service excellent and we felt happy to have found this charming restaurant.

Had a friend who visited to eat here. clean place, good eating, friendly service, relaxing atmosphere. reasonable prices.

Fantastic. this was our first night in Germany this last trip. our plant partners have selected this site. the right out of the films little German kitchen.

Had a great lunch in the free with the family. nice menu choices and delicious food. the service was also great! perfect lunch place.
