Fumikaden - Matsuyama

Small but beautiful restaurant. the lady who served us was beautiful. I ordered the vegan desire was delicious! the load next door has a small food shelf that sells vegan packed food and a really sweet dog also

At last eat something vegan! They always have a Japanese style lunch option, and eating is fresh and healthy. a jewel in matsuyama

I ordered a vegetable macrobiotic plate. The taste was not very strong so if you are accustomed to ordinary vegetarian food in the UK you may feel it is less tasty. The appearance was beautiful but I had little joy of trying different kinds of dish on the same plate.

They served three courses of which 2 were vegetarian. It was al very delicious! The price was also very reasonable. The restaurant itself was very cosy and calm. They also sell home made granola and they have an organic shop next door.

The staff didn't speak English all that well, but they were helpful in pointing out what was vegan. The meals are traditional Japanese assortments of a main dish, salad, and pickled vegetables. They have tasty vegan cakes and cookies too (sugar free). For a slice of cheesecake and one meal, it was about 15 USD, which I thought was a little expensive.
