Knut Café - Matsue

It is actually a budget hotel with on public toilet on each floor and shower only on the 2nd floor. Each floor has around 7 rooms. Room is spacious in view of the price. The staff at the café are polite and helpful.

Near Matsue Station. You have a bar. The rooms were great with lockers. It is a basic acommodation with washing machines for clothes and dryers. The only thing I didn't like is that the reception was not opened 24 hours, but still it's a good place to stay.

English is not her strength, but they try to help everyone who comes through the door. Thank you, Mr Kasuki and Mrs Niho for solving my problem.

Stayed at mixed 6-dorm, very good facilities overall with good stable Internet access. The cafe downstairs is cozy, but one of the staff members was trying to get me to move upstairs despite it being an hour and a half before closing time. Free bike rental makes it very easy to get around the city.

A solid choice i stayed in a private room and was everything needed in simple circumstance. Super close to station with various restaurants and konbini nearby. Easy to get to Lafcadio Hearn museum which was main purpose of visit. Also a cafe on first floor serving good quality coffee. Could be a little more quiet but in general, a cheap and cheerful option when you aren 't spending a lot of time in your room.
