If you're in the area of Lilac St. in Marikina, pay Frozen Break Ice Cream Bar a visit and order the salted caramel ice cream in a churros cup. After a hefty lunch at a nearby grill, I hardly had any room for dessert. But this was too hard to resist. It was overly sweet and generic. We tried to borrow a board game but we were tild that u have to pay 50 pesos to play, while other stores have the same games for free.

Frozen Break is a great place for ice cream lovers. The ice cream desserts are truly a winner. Their Churros Ice Cream (must-try) is such a gustatory pleasure for the palate. Aside from ice cream and desserts, they also serve great meals. The place is ideal for afternoon cool snacks with the kids.

After having dinner at Mandi's Grill Grub, just a couple of doors away, we decided to have a cup of ice cream before leaving the area. My friend Richard and I settled on Churro Ice Cream Bowls while KC ordered the Banana Split. Both were very good and on a hot day, refreshing. The Salted Caramel and Coffee Crumble were really good, but the Mantecado was just okay. They have a variety of flavors that are all fresh and delicious. It may not look like much from the outside but step in and pick your flavour. Overall, great place for a quick ice cream fix.
