Park Place Diner - Matawan

Whenever I visit a new diner, I have a rule that I have to order a burger and pommes, as this is my barometer to find a great diner. This Cheeseburger Deluxe was amazing! The Patty was oversized and perfectly maximizes the ratio of Bungalow to Burger. It had a pleasant grill taste that was improved by the cool salad and tomatoes. I asked for crispy pommes, and that's exactly how they came out. We arrived at a Saturday at noon and our server was Trish; although she coughs from table to table, she still took time to be extremely polite, attentive and friendly. It was a great meal and a perfect visit.

I'm out of here. Let me say the Mexican Panini is from this world. Paired with sweet potatoes, my mouth still rolls from the incredible experience. When I picked up my food, the nice manager and the server made sure everything was in my order and ready to go. The food was still hot when I got it home, which means they had perfect timing. I love this place and will definitely make it a priority stop when I'm in the area. Do not trick, stop one and get some great comfort food at an amazing price! They won't be disappointed. The food is usually good here. Big hamburgers, not fat. Get the deluxe. It's still cheap. Your breakfast is also good. But they miss it by not offering a greeting. If not every day (like other diners), at least they offer on Sunday.

This is my absolute favorite dining place in state. I mean that. I've never been to a place so consistently great until I've eaten here a few years ago. The burgers are fantastic! I could eat at this place every day and never get sick of it. All right. Try it.
