How things are supposed to work here when it's high season is a mystery to me!!! 4 tables were occupied, but we soon had to wait over half an hour for our order (two ice creams, one waffle), drinks (2 cokes, 1 mojito) took “only” 15 minutes... the ice cream didn't taste good, or rather it looked like cheap ice cream the supermarket. Paid a total of €32 But the service was very nice. Price per person: €5–10

Our experience was very mixed. The service was very nice but our order (2x Coke, 1 Mojito, 1 waffle and 2x ice cream took 30 minutes even though the place was pretty empty. The ice cream came without a spoon and after 5 minutes my wife went to get the spoons the waitress who had actually wanted to bring them had forgotten them. You shouldn't order the ice cream either. The ice cream sundaes weren't expensive, but they were just plain ice cream from the supermarket. My waffle with walnuts and honey, however, was very tasty. Unfortunately it was a bit cold (no wonder given the waiting time but really tasty and more suitable for two people. The mojito was good too. This makes it difficult to find the right number of stars. The ice cream and the waiting time were more like 1 2 , the waffle and the mojito, as well as the friendliness of the service 5

A lovely place amidst the hustle and bustle of Matala. A great cappuccino, a delicious lemonade and really nice service. This is how holidays are fun Price per person: €10–15 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
