Tango Cafe - Mata de São João

Average place. A bit pricey for coffee and cake and to be honest the cappuccino was pretty poor. Friendly enough staff but we came in out of the rain. If hadn't have rained we'd have missed it and not been all that sad about doing so!

We passed by this cafe several times on our way back to our hotel Porto Zarpa. One day we decided to try it. It was excellent. I tried the Mafalda salad with mango. It was delicious!!!! Their olive oil is the best I ever tried. My daughter had steak and loved it too. Great place!!!!

It's the chic place around here, the service depends on the attendant, the food is all very good, the price is high but if you're in vacation it's worth the extra " real".

Stayed for a quick stop today. We where there with our guide Fabiana. The cakes where all good and moist. Try the coconut/chocolate cake.fresh mango juice and nice espresso. We just had a quick stop but the service was fast and alright prices. 20 r for cake.

After a pizza at Companhia do Forte , me and my wife went to Tango to have a dessert and coffee.We were at least 10 min seated without nobody ask about our order , then we changed to another table to be seen ! The waitress arrived and finally we had our order done , but a not tasteful chocolate pie and a very expensive coffee.Better have a coffe anywhere else and an ice cream as a dessert in any other place , there are lots of ice cream places at the village...
