The setup is great, the menu offered a great selection (assuming you aren't a vegatarian, at which point you'll either go for the apps, or a salad minus the meat. I will definitely come back. I would come back even more if they had vegetarian options for the girlfriend.
Inside, we were greeted by a friendly young child holding the door open for us, followed by the welcoming staff who smiled and waved as we were seated at a high-top table. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lively but a bit too bright for my liking. There are three distinct areas: the outdoor terrace where smoking is permitted, a dining area with various tables that lacks visual appeal, and the main bar section filled with TVs, especially for sports, along with a dartboard and a jukebox. It might make more sense to create a quieter ambiance in the dining area separate from the vibrant bar area. The menu is impressive, offering a wide variety of choices to please everyone. Many of the dishes and some drinks include playful pickle-themed names. For our appetizer, we ordered the Bretzel served with a delightful beer cheese and marinara sauce. It was fantastic—just the right balance of flavors, not overly spicy or runny like at some other places. I noticed they don’t offer Splenda, which might be something to consider. For our entrées, we opted for burgers and chose to upgrade to fries instead of the homemade chips, which we thought would pair better with the sandwiches. While the Angus patties didn’t seem handmade (which was a bit disappointing), the overall taste was enjoyable. The bun was fresh and lightly toasted, generously stacked with toppings, and accompanied by a grape tomato and a bed of fresh cut vegetables. They also offer fries with a delicious beer cheese sauce and a unique "evil sauce"—a mix of Sriracha and BBQ—topped with green onions. The "Evil Burger" features two Angus patties slathered in that evil sauce, jalapeños, and beer cheese. Despite a few hiccups, the food is delicious, and the menu really aligns with the restaurant’s brand. I believe this will be a great spot for friends and families looking for a fun pub atmosphere with food that stands out above the typical pub fare. Although they’ve only been open for a few weeks, I’m confident they’ll iron out any issues and establish themselves as a popular dining destination. I look forward to returning in a few months to try the deep-fried cheesecake dessert. Be sure to plan your visit and take a friend!
Our waitress Nicole was wonderful—very attentive and offered excellent recommendations. We tried several appetizers, and the beer cheese dip was definitely the highlight!
The food was quite delicious, and the server was very friendly and knowledgeable. I loved that you offer sailor's rum—what a nice touch! The ambiance is modern and clean, which I really appreciated. I'll definitely be back. Being locally owned adds so much to the experience. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that it took about 15 to 20 minutes for our server to come to our table initially, but it was definitely worth the wait.
We came here and were greeted by such a friendly staff. We ordered Steak and I'm so picky about my steak. It must be done well, not pink. Usually people can't cook well without burning it or it's so hard that I can't chew it. This is not the case here that the steak is cooked for perfection. It is soft and has an amazing taste. We also got the fried pickles that were the icing on the cake. They were also amazing. I can't wait to come back. The best steaks in town. I didn't want a better place to eat.
