Ihop - Mason

Our server Lamont provided excellent service. The food was delicious and the service was quick.

Today is Wednesday at 10:15 in the morning. I arrived at a restaurant and was put on a waiting list with no issue. However, after waiting for 45 minutes, I decided to leave and went to McAlister's across the street. As I left, I noticed that IHOP had 6 occupied tables but could not seat me, another couple, or a group of two. There were about 30 empty tables. In my opinion, the proper customer experience would have been to seat us and offer us a drink while we waited. If IHOP continues to operate in this manner, I may not return. Next time I want breakfast, I will go to Waffle House instead.

If you're on vacation and your kids want IHOP, avoid this place. We were initially happy to find it wasn't too busy, but then nobody greeted us when we entered. The server saw us but didn't acknowledge us. A few customers, including us, waited for 10 minutes before anyone came. The manager finally came after 15 minutes, without apologizing or welcoming us. She seemed terrible and rude. Fortunately, our server Joshua was amazing and attentive. However, the manager was nowhere to be seen after we were seated. The atmosphere seemed dull and the employees appeared unmotivated. I will never return here again. I'd rather go to Bob Evans down the road.

One of the best ihops I had. there are actually sufficient employees who are also competent. the food was decent. I had no complaints. I would go back.

Good food. Good service. A bit short staffed though which was understandable.
