Suzie Q Cafe - Mason City

Very sweet Valentin Diner, recently restored on the outside, but original on the inside. Very sweet original on the inside could use a really good cleaning. Eating is a good reasonable price. It is fun to eat only there is small diner holding only about 8 people.

Had a delicious pork tenderloin sandwich, fries and Sioux City root beer today at Suzie Q's. Friendly service and atmosphere. While we were waiting for our order a veteran came in to order lunch. Suzy Q's wait staff came outside, took his order, and carried lunch out to him. They showed kindness and compassion in the way they waited on a disabled veteran with prosthetic limb and crutches.

Great place for a casual meal. Breakfast is great. Lunch was great. Owner is a fun guy. Ask him to do little magic for you. Place is small but worth a wait to eat in a piece of history. If your looking for gourmet dinner you should try northwest steakhouse.
