Pasta Bella - Mason City

As someone who isn't local, I decided to drop in on a whim. I started with the garlic bread appetizer, which was a nice-sized half loaf. However, I feel they need to improve it—there was a heavy, dark garlic flavor that was a bit overwhelming. I then ordered the chicken marsala, which was served over pasta instead of the usual garlic mashed potatoes; that was a first for me. The sauce was quite dark and tasted like it came from a jar. I would recommend skipping the pre-made sauces and opting for a homemade marsala sauce with cream for a better result. There was also a knotted bread served, which was quite good, and the salads were decent with generous amounts of dressing.

Kyle was the best waiter we've ever encountered! He was exceptional and truly enhanced our experience, making it both fantastic and memorable. The food was delicious, served promptly, and the portions were generous. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars!
