Skooter's - Mascoutah

When I first walked in, I worried that I had made a bad choice for a quick dinner. However, it’s a reminder not to judge too quickly. Once our bartender/server got the hang of the coffee machine, everything went smoothly from there! Our food surpassed our expectations, and the service was excellent!

Stuffed Green Peppers was the special of the day and they were GREAT! Came with a side salad (also VERY good! and garlic toast. Almost TOO filling! Felt a tad bit miserable after... Maybe should'a taken some leftovers home? Prices are reasonable in this place and my experience with the service has always been good. Really glad we've got a good restaurant/bar like this in Mascoutah.

For a casual dining experience and a menu full of choices, including fish, steaks, chicken and house specials you're sure to find something to satisfy your taste. Wow... The dinner food options...I had the country fried steak with makes potatoes and fried okra. Their chefs know their good southern good touch. I'm loving it.

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. The service was poor, and the food was even worse. I ordered a ribeye steak, but it was overwhelmingly salty and inedible. Additionally, the baked potato was served cold.
