The Royal Standard - Mary Tavy

Was empty for year's, then brought by Simple Scrumptious who opened it up as a Cafe. Nicely furnished, lovely meals, superb service from the dedicated female staff. Inside clean and felt being in one's home. But, good things come to an end. This is now closed, once again. Very sad

No longer The Royal Standard but a small licensed cafe called Cafe Scrumptious. It was scrumptious indeed and we enjoyed a brilliant, well priced cream tea served with a smile even though it was only half hour before closing after a busy Sunday shift. We’re just sorry we missed the Sunday roast and will be back to ty it next time! #creamfirst

Now a lovely little cafe. Had a nice burger and chips there. Reasonable price too.
