Holy Smoke Hog Roast - Martinsville

I used her for dinner. The food was very reasonable and tasteful! It was delivered and furnished. The whole process was very simple and I would recommend everyone!

We were here about 10 times. For the first time, the food was good, then hit the next 4 times and miss. It tastes like they just pour on all liquid smoke. Last three times the food has deteriorated every time. They advertise specials daily, but don't honor them. I believe in the support of local businesses, but last three times did it for me. We will not eat here anymore and will not recommend it to the family or friends.

Very dissatisfied with the food and food experience. I had really high hopes after seeing this place on Fox 59 News and could not wait to try it out. I had better smoked meat at diving bars (Sp ? The Checkered Flag Indy? Very recommended), and our server was the WORST! I ordered this? Carnivor Challenge? And the best dish ended the note... pretty sad. I advise you to save time and money!

Holy smoke is a relatively new place in Martinsville. It has a beautiful atmosphere and they serve fried cookies (very good) with apple butter as a free appetizer when you sit. The food is cheap and you get big portions. The fried items were excellent, they were not greasy and well seasoned. However, the ducks were a little too salty or too much sauce. When you order wings, they get with sauce on the side. On the other hand, the greens I ordered were perfectly boiled, but were a bit bland and seemed vegetarian. I must admit that I was disappointed when I tasted no pig or smoked turkey in the green. That means I liked the Holy Smoke and wants to go back to try some other things from their menu. Overall a pleasant and relaxing place and you can still sit in an outdoor terrace when you bring your pet. You also have daily specialties Monday to Thursday.

Food was good. Service was great. Outdoor seating was available and very nice. Met the owner, Eli, great guy. Tenderloins were great, portions were plentiful. Cheap appetizers.
