Empire China - Martinsburg

Pretty interior clean and well kept. Food is excellent, authentic, and expertly prepared and presented: not surprising, given the influence of the French on cooking in South Vietnam and the fact that the owners were boat people who fled Viet Nam when Saigon fell. Prices are exceptionally good especially considering the quality of the food and lovely service.

Lunch special prices are too high. I was in pikeville and their lunch special was $1 cheaper

Haven't tried the Chinese food, but the Pho was exactly as great as I was hoping to get. As someone from California, I can say this place is the real deal when it comes to Vietnamese Pho.

I lived in Martinsburg for 19 years and Empire China has always been my go to for Chinese food. I've lived in Washington state since 2015 and the Chinese restaurants there are nowhere near as good as east coast Chinese food. I was pleasantly surprised to see the restaurant was still open and my son and I decided to have dinner. My son ordered pho which was a new addition to the menu since my last visit and he tore it apart. The pan fried dumplings were excellent, the eggrolls crisp and the ribs were perfect.

The food was great! First visit and I love the freshness of the food. The flavors where right where they should. Will be going back for more.. It’s all about the Pho!
