First visit here, and with a large group of people unannounced on a busy weekend, so I'm impressed with the ability of staff to cope with the influx of orders. Great food too...I had the salt pepper squid rings and they were awesome

Local pub with good selection of beers, wines and other alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverages. Good food served with bar meals and dining. Live music, sport TV and horse racing/betting station. Lively and friendly bar.

We had lunch here on Sunday. They were short staffed so menu was limited. However the food and service was excellent and we really enjoyed our lunch In fact the scones were the best we have had!

Group of 9 of us were booked for dinner after a hard day of cycling round the wineries of Martinborough. A few of us had the rib eye steak, some had the burgers, lamb rump, surf and turf, and a soup. Everything came out on time and was very well presented and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the potato bacon and mushroom side dish, it's actually quite substantial and was enough as a main for one of the younger members of our party. Friendly staff, good service, great food, perfect for after a hard day.

We had an early Christmas dinner here. Great food, redonable prices and friendly staff. Happy to recommend
