La Lanterna - MARTANO

We have spent two wonderfull weeks in Salento and we have dined at La Lanterna 3 times. Each and every single meal was delicious! We have tried some dishes from the typical cuisine, pasta and pizza. Honestly, my favourite pizza was La Ghiottona (it is a must try!!! . A combination of burrata, speck and pistachio ... It is mouth watering, isnt it?! The service was exceptional and we really felt welcomed there. Shame they dont do take away to London hehe

Very simple restaurant but offers a very good service with very tasty dishes : I really recommend to stop here on ur way

This family run restaurant has ample seating. Lunch was efficiently served with generous portions and fresh prepared. The seafood antipasto and Piatto Principale, were well prepared and flavorful. Price was around 25 Euro per person (for lunch, including wine, coffee and Lemoncello) Recommended

Fast and efficient service. but pizza and salty fruit. we hope that the chef recalibrates the budget

We ate well, even if there was a misunderstood of the waiter. instead of a fried fish brought us a fried of croquettes and other that we thought they were for everyone. at the end and one thing in more cmq all very good.
