Place needs to be spruced up. Clean. Paint. Fix up.

I feel like the food is inconsistent. Sometimes it's great, and other times it is kind of blah, or doesn't look or taste like it has before. Donnie has been my waiter a couple of times and is amazing at his job!

Really tasty pork tamales, spicy but not so spicy that it kills the flavor. Iced tea is real brewed tea, not packaged. Husband had steak street tacos and they were authentic. The refried beans are tender and reminded me of the best Tex-Mex beans I grew up on in Texas. The spanish rice is cooked to perfection as well. Guacamole side was tasty and great texture. Chips warm and delicately crisp, salsa very good and on the mild side but I’m certain our waiter would have provided a spicier one had we asked. Definitely recommend.

Thos was always my go to but the last year it has gone down hill. Employees are still very friendly but strive not great and the food is just ok. Not my favorite anymore ?

Wow. Coming from the Des Moines area I’m always nervous to be out in smaller communities due to the lack of vegan options. The Vegan Al Pastor Fajita was out of this world. The atmosphere of the restaurant is so charming. Our server was great. We will 100% be back in the future.
