Ihop - Marshall

The waitress we had was so sweet and kind. She was small with long braids. Very attentive but not annoying I would go back and ask for her every time. My omelet was to die for.

We had a good experience here but were seated at a table and then had to get up and move across the restaurant to another table. My fork was dirty and the waitress never brought me another one. I got up and got it myself after our orders came to us. The food was good and they did a substitution for me.

The omelets here are enormous! The service is quick and friendly. This place certainly surpasses the usual IHOP experience. One thing I would suggest for improvement is cleaning the tops of the hot sauce bottles before refilling them. It’s a bit uncomfortable to open a new-looking bottle only to find dried hot sauce from previous uses.

The food was good, but my main issue was with the waitress. Despite my colorful credit card being visible for about 20 minutes, she chose to only engage with the two gentlemen ahead of me. Instead of bringing me a regular coffee cup, she brought a to-go cup, claiming it was a larger size. I didn't come to a sit-down restaurant to be served like that; it felt more like a truck stop experience.

I had an awful breakfast on September 1, 2022. The plates and silverware were ice cold, as if they had just come from a cooler, and all the food was served cold, suggesting it had been prepared and left out. The only warm item was the eggs, while the sausage links were actually refrigerator cold, not even room temperature. The pancakes wouldn’t melt the butter at all. Overall, the food was subpar. To make matters worse, the glass doors and floors at the entrance were dirty. I was so taken aback that I didn't mention anything at the time, but once we left, I asked my husband how his meal was, and he had the same experience. He suggested I add this place to my list of restaurants to avoid.
