Fantastic experience! we enjoyed every dish and handmade cocktails—I recommend the bulldog for the cocktail list. do not miss the hearty roasted bevel as an appetizer and save them space for dessert! the deconstructed cheesecake was a beautiful, light finish to a great meal. when we left the host, we took us to the kitchen and led us to the Sous cook, which showed us how our dinner was prepared. a cherry on an already perfect expedition!

Interior is very nice. We sat by the open kitchen. Most of our food was delicious. We got a couple of things that could have been better. One dish was overly salty. Overall though, a good meal.

Simply the best eating option in the area! If you haven't driven to Marshall, Va and eaten at Field and Main, DO! It is some of the best, most creative yet simple, tasty and fun food you will have. It is truly a place that will offer a menu FULL of memorable meals. The cocktail options are fun, the wine offerings are many and all wonderful. the servers are friendly, casual and honestly seem to be happy to be part of your evening. Bottom line Come Here! You will not regret it!

This place is amazing. The owner has a fantastic knowledge and selection of wines and can help you make the perfect selection. The food is creative and really good. They have a special knack with service and making it personal without being intrusive. Do the multi course menu if you can talk your table into it.

My wife and I have wanted dine at F&M for some time, but we hadn't been able to get there. The restaurant has been making all of the top 10 dining spots in our area, and it's so deserved! We went for Brunch and it was so amazing! The menu is bold and creative, and yet simplistic in their approach. My entrée was the Ham and Pimento cheese bread pudding with a fried duck egg on top, and it was delicious!! The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and well trained. If you have special concerns, the kitchen will do whatever they can to meet your needs. We will be going back very soon!!
