Far too noisy. Staffing problems meant food delivery would take “up to 45 minutes” (although we were warned on arrival of this). Garlic bread was tough and tasted stale. Steak was inedible due gristle along the whole of one side (although I was not charged for it). Overall, not a good experience.

Excellent service and good venue for family get together.

I have been coming to Frankie Bennys for quite a few years now. To be honest I wouldn’t have gone again but for the birthday meal discount. I was impressed with the table we were given which we asked for . We talked about Frankie Bennys over dinner. We compared eg my veggie pizza to a meal we had in anew Italian restaurant in Newton Abbot. The standard of food there for the price and quality was far superior to that in Frankie Bennys. We realised I drive there was nearer and standards much higher even without the discount. The quality in Frankie Bennys is never really brilliant. Just kind of acceptable. It does come a cross a bit fast food as it is quick paced also . Discounts are reduced and exclude weekends . It is a sign that you are progressing but unfortunately it’s rather hit and miss. However the staff are rather polite and friendly but that alone is not enough to rush back. Hopefully quality of food may improve some day. Good luck but it will be some time before we return( discount or not
