.or tee or just a drink. I had calamari and my partner had a tuna steak. both were excellent, the seafood was fresh (obvily) and simple, but well prepared. we enjoyed every mouthful. Yes, it can be a little more expensive than the mainland. but they must have delivered everything; and yes they are busy all day round, and there was only one person waiting for most of this time, but they don’t go to d’if when they relax, chill, drink and drink in the environment.
-Location: 4/5 beautiful view of Marseille) -Menu: 2/5 mid-low quality food and preparation) -Service: 3/5 quite friendly) -Price quality: 2/5 high prices compared to quality and service) We ordered a complete menu €27), Greek salad as appetiser, tuna steak and hamburger as second dish, dates...cake as dessert. To be honest, only the Greek salad was tasty. About the rest, absolutely nothing special, mid-low quality food and preparation. Better to enjoy a drink with a beautiful sea view and panorama! wlf
We were moved by a table set for 4 (it was actually 2 tabs for 2). while we sit on another table waiting for over 30 minutes to be recognized, we have observed how several other couples were also moved on the same table. it was never occupied. After we were not even recognized, we went back. if that's what they call service then good for them. Several other potential customers also voted with their feet.
Marseille en face is the only restaurant on the island if with the château d’if. that's nice to eat here. for vegetarians they have a beautiful salad with olive and feta cheese, a good pesto pasta and some gelato. while I like the pasta. I felt it could do with a lot more pesto sauce. it is a little expensive, but is the only option on the island when it comes to eating and drinking so that they have no other choice. and it really gets hot in marseille, near 35-40 degrees in summer, so they will get at the end something here while waiting for their boat. the staff at the place is also friendly. from here they have a great view of the city. the tables are open, so they look möwen around them, some fly or dust can also harass them, but there will be no terrible experience.
