Friendly welcome in a very nice setting .the service is fast , fresh products ..... entrance and mid-cook tuna : the regalade !! excellent gourmet coffee!!! Here’s a real good address!!!
The menu at 20€ with meat entry with panisses then calf paleron dish and then lemon dacquoise dessert with raspberry with a glass of wine and a coffee is very good; service is very welcoming and the beautiful interior setting
Waouhhhh: one of the best restaurants in our life. an exceptional quality cuisine, from the entrances to the desserts, everything is homemade to the bread. My son has taken salmon: a delight....You can compose your salad-plat for 10 euros: a treat as much as you have choice of ingredients as day pie, zucchini dough (delicious), salad, any kind of vegetables etc... a feast, excellent, homemade obviously: the green lemon panacotta, cheesecake, chichis nutella....to fall on the ground. The very warm welcome, you feel very well at home.Bravo to you for this nice sharing of your passion. We loved it.
So it is possible to get a good meal with good service and reasonable prices in Vieux Port.This restaurant is just a couple of short blocks from the bad tourist restaurants, but is a world apart. Firstly there is no outside area, which means it is a bit quieter than the street restaurants during the summer when many people eat outside.Service was excellent throughout, with a single waiter attending to around 10 occupied tables. Waiter was friendly, prompt, and took the time to explain the dishes on the menu...something that was done pleasantly and willingly, including English where we didn't understand a few of the French names. Service was also delivered with a smile and good humour throughout.Starter plates of smoked charcuterie and shrimps with chickpea were both delicious and easily something we would choose again.Mains of boneless lamb ribs, and seared tuna nicoise style were also excellent.Finally our desserts of profiteroles and macarons were both tasty and generously portioned.We left very full and satisfied, and definitely would recommend a visit. To add one more positive, we received a 30% discount on food prices for booking online.
