Ikea - MARSDEN PARK

Fantastic food and service Two mains kids meal and desserts Decent opening hours If it wasn't for their restaurant I would never visit IKEA.

Looking to buy something from IKEA. I have bought before and have been happy with my purchase so far for furniture. While trying to make a decision decided to have lunch and a chat. I order Chicken Schnitzel and chips with gravy. I think the Schnitzel was either poorly made or had been kept hot in the bain marie keeping it hot for far too long. The chicken had shrunk inside the coating, the crumb coating was so hard I could hardly cut through it. The chips were just as crunchy and had obviously been in the bain marie for way too long. It was the absolute WORST lunch I have had in many years. Will definitely NOT be having lunch again at IKEA! I would have taken it back but time was running out to pick up school time and I was hungry. Also we were asked if we wanted gravy on our meals. I have tried to see what ingredients are in the GRAVY but can't even find the ingredients of the CREAM SAUCE which is sold as gravy. I would suggest everyone be aware that the food may have been sitting in the bain marie for way too long and don't buy! ALSO, the lady taking payment was wearing gloves which were NOT changed when she was handling cutlery. I paid with cash not a card.

Visited our nearest Ikea for the upteenth time made a day of it and also had lunch, Chips were luke warm, snitzel looked as though it had been in a fight and was falling apart peas were okay mind!

Although fairly average food, the value is very good, $14.00 for Mushroom ragout, a small salad, bread roll 2 coffees. The coffee is exceptional for the money you can have multiple cups for one price.”

The food at this restaurant is excellent and very reasonably priced. The service is fast and the restaurant is very clean, making it a great spot to grab a meal before shopping.
