Mars Theatre Brewing Co. - Mars Hill

Good pork nachos. Good beer. Great music venue depending on the band. JC tokes, not so much.

This place brings back memories of my college days at Mars Hill College. They've turned it into a brewery and still have the capability of showing movies. The beer is top notch. Love the Kilt Warmer and Stout, especially. They are working on improving the food and expanding their menu to leverage the limited kitchen space. I have enjoyed their Cuban sandwich and shredded pork nachos. I hope folks will patronize this place, not only for what they have to offer now but, to also to support what they will become in the future. They are good folks and deserve our support.

One of the coolest breweries we’ve been! Keeping the vibe of the theater and having the stage/movie screen was awesome. The beers were delicious. Lots of games and items to keep the kids entertained. Plus the bartender was super cool. He learned my twins were taking drum lessons and brought them some drum sticks to keep! We can’t wait to come back for more brews and check it out when they have live bands.

What a great unique venue. Crow the beer tender) is a wealth of information. Friendly staff with great beers at a reasonable price. It's literally an old small theatre that has been opened up while still retaining a bunch of the original seats and the balcony seating. They also have a kitchen with good food. Help support your local micro brewery!! They still show movies on the big screen. Kid and family friendly!!

Little disappointed to see Hickory Nut Brewing vacated, but the new brews are pretty good. It's also a cool venue, being an old single screen theater.
