My partner booked the outdoors area for over 30 people for my birthday a month in advance, to only be told on the day that we didnt have enough dollars to have it there, instead they allowed us to sit inside (a spot for only about 15 people). Everyone was hot and stuffy. the food is overpriced. and the people just gave up on the drinks and started to order about 3-4 at a time (as it took WAY too long for a drink). never again! and p.s. never again for at least 30 other people
At the vanguard of this movement is young cafe/wine bar BeeJay’s, which is quickly becoming a hangout for all the cool cats in town. As the sun shines, an all day breakfast is offered up. It is a slick infusion of what’s hip and what’s relevant. There’s the usual brunch bandits – eggs, bircher muesli and all the sour dough you could poke your yeast free finger at– but what gives the menu its ‘instagrammability’ is the incorporation of local flavours. Although we only had take-away coffees the food and freshly squeezed juices in jars looked delicious.
...I only wanted salad. It was arrived with avocado, spinach and a delicious grain mustard dressing, delicious!
I like what they are going on here, the cool hipster bar/café vibe location is beautiful, but a little bit cramped in my opinion, but I fear they can only work with the space they have eat is good with fair portion sizes against price to boot
