British Pub - Marrakesh

Having just come out of here, should have taken note of the recent reviews! Went in as a party of four, place was basically empty apart from a couple of people at the bar. Ordered two beers and two smirnoff ice. Seats were stained and dirty, and tables were sticky. Being British too polite to leave straight away, we finished our drinks and when asked for the bill were told 400 dhs! On querying bill was told each drink was 100 dhs which would have been the most expensive drinks I've been charged even in London. The waiter even wrote amount on his hand given the background noise. On checking with people at the bar, they were bring charged 60 dhs a drink, waiter then agreed with lower price and tried to blame price difference on not understanding english! Avoid this place, try Canto Bar a few doors down.

Music was good, beers were reasonably priced,we went in group of 12 and because some of us went to bar to get our own drinks, instead of ordering from waitress she made us move from the seated area.. Said we had to order 40 drinks at once to sit there... Presume its something similar to a vip area, except it was a regular sofa table, absolutely nothing special about it... Small dance floor which was good enough for the venue... There was 2 guys playing instruments to match the dj (they were really good) however they came over by us and I told one they were great and he started demanding money.... Disgraceful as it was inside a venue that we paid for our drinks... It's not really somewhere I'd recommend for a big group, but for one or two drinks it's OK... But I'm sure there is nicer friendlier venues about that serve alcohol

It was nice place I really enjoyed my stay there good people and good service

Not a pub. Not British. Not English. No sports. No games. Very dark.
