Pizza Abdou - Marrakech

First hard to find, but great pizza! The stand is pretty slim, so don't go by. The pizza is thin, ingenious in taste and perfectly seasoned. I didn't expect such a good pizza in the middle of Marrakech!

Tired of tajines? EAT HERE! Amazing pizza and ridiculously good price. We went back three nights in a row, not only for the pizza, but also to talk to the owner. He is such a nice guy and a true part of the Moroccan experience. Pizza is the perfect size for one person and at 15 DH for ground beef pizza, you can always get a second if you're still hungry! There is actually sauce on the pizza plus you can get hot sauce added! Perfect pizza for this Texan.

For the price this is amazing pizza. Many options and like others have said, a really friendly owner. Super small cute place, so probably only good for the takeout, unless you want to eat on the street. Pizza is thin crust and can be adjusted to your taste. My only criticism is that it was a little salty and too much black pepper (Oregano) for my palate, otherwise a great pizza.

We are always happy to see successful companies all over the world, and Abdous is such a joint. Centrally located in Marrakechs Medina we were pleasantly surprised by the simplicity of the menu, good quality ingredients and naturally fantastic taste. While we were waiting for our three pizzas to be freshly prepared, we had a good chat with him about his restaurant career in Paris and his current venture in Marrakech. We took our pizzas back to our riad and they tasted as good as they smelled. Really thin crust and crispy. They were so good that a bunch of fellow travelers ask us where we get them so we sent them to Abdou. Go on!
