Absolutely awesome meal. This place is a hidden gem. We have been holidaying at Alex for four years now and didn't know this place existed. Now we will become regulars when in town.

Absolute favourite restaurant on the coast! Highly recommend if you are looking for delicious food, quality service and the most beautiful location. It doesn't get much better than that!

Our family have been going to the Boat Shed at Cottontree for a number of years and have never had a bad experience. It is the place we always take our interstate and overseas visitors. The menu is always innovative while the old favourites like maple banana prawns remain. The staff are always knowledgable friendly and attentive and the view is so beautiful.

We went to the boat shed for lunch last weekend and were simply blown away at the quality of our meals. I eat out sometimes up to 4-5 times a week quite often coming home disappointed. We ordered the swordfish special and the salmon with the oysters as a starter and would go as far to say it was one of the best meals I've ever eaten. Staff were friendly and very capable, views were amazing and food was divine. Can't wait to come back

The combinations of flavour and texture were sublime. The quality of the meals is right up there with many other well known five star restaurants. Definitely a hidden gem!
