His wife, Gemma, is a wonderful host. My family is not vegan, and after searching for 7 days, we were finally able to eat together here. Hacis even made me a Sunday evening dinner with olive oil roasted potatoes, mashed potatoes, and various roasted vegetables while my family enjoyed a traditional Sunday roast. He keeps his kitchen separate and open, welcoming both vegan and non-vegan diners. This was a great find in a predominantly meat-eating country.

He is meticulous about not mixing pans and his open kitchen welcomes you in. This restaurant is a great find in this predominantly carnivorous country.
