Habibi's Lebanese Cuisine - Marksville

On 2/5/22 at around 5ish in the evening, my dinner guest and I were sure for a wonderful surprise! I am in the Lafayette area, so there are many different Mediterranean restaurants that are delicious; HOWEVER, HABIBI'S in Marksville DEFINITELY puts the bar very high with the way her squeeze is prepared! This restaurant sets the standard. We ordered: 1. Trash bucket 2. Fried Halloumi cheese Both appetizers were AWESOME!!! 3. MEAT MOUSSAKA: WOW!!!!! The best!!!! Everything tasted very fresh! The salad was even prepared. I can't wait to go back and try other items.

My family and I have the experience, food, service! The Vibes were amazing and they made us very welcome! Our first time and will definitely not eat here the last time. Oh and ask for the grape alcohol drink THE BEST DRINK EVER!!!! * forgotten, pictures of the Entrees lol.

One of the best hidden Jems ive found. I love Lebanese food and this place hit it out of the park. Had cabbage rolls for appetizer they were ingenious the sauce had the cucumber flavor that is exactly right. Me and Mom both have Kabob. The beef was super delicate and the shrimps were great. The rice, salad and hummus like everything else was very good. Service was good that we Deborah and she helped with questions and did an excellent job!! Very recommended!!

Yesterday my family and I ate here while we visited family in the area. The establishment of the restaurant was good and the atmosphere was very quiet and collected. I had the gyro and shrimp pasta with a Lebanese tea. For an appetizer we had the fried cheese sticks. All were well cooked and tasteful. The food was cheap and not too expensive. Although I give this place 5 stars, I must be honest and say that the service for the day was sub par; but not for the blame of the restaurant. Our waitress was very nice and very helpful when we had questions about the menu. Unfortunately, for all those who worked there, they were very short employees who caused longer than necessary waiting times. The reason why I do not owe the restaurant is that many restaurants are now unable to get workers in the days (the many “now setting” signs you see everywhere). With the helpers they did, the service was as good as he could have been. I appeal to the waiters to remain professional and cordial in an extremely stressful and frustrating situation, not having enough workers to cover this night. I would definitely recommend to anyone in town who wants to eat some Mediterranean food here. It's definitely worth it.

Amazing food, wonderful staff, nice atmosphere. Zero complaints except it’s too far away and ubereats doesn’t drive to new roads. As far as the owner being friendly, I love that about this place. From the first time we went there, she made us feel like we were old friends. Made recommendations after asking us some questions to see what we’d really enjoy and checked in on us (above and beyond) to see what we liked and didn’t. Great place!!
