Windjammer Fish and Chips - Markham

We have been there 3 times now and it is always very good. The batter is not over whelming and the chips are very tasty. Now greasy! The portions are pretty good size too! I n ever finish all the fries. The service is fast and friendly. The place is quite plain in decor but it's clean. And the prices are reasonable!

Nothing fancy but consistent. A Markham tradition. Could be updated but if you want old style fish and chips, it's the place to go.

I craved a fix of fish and chips so went to Windjammers as i heard it was an excellent restaurantFirst problem is finding it.Even though i was in the plaza where it is located I couldn't find it as nowhere does the name Windjammers appear anywhere.You have to look for the name fish and chipsOnce I found it I was surprized at the size of the place .Just enough room to fit 6 people at besthowever i ordered the halibut fish in a bun and all problems getting there disappeared .the fish was done to perfection and the chips were perfectin Summary;if you find Windjammers you won't be disappointed
