Wimpy's Diner - Markham

I visited this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon and ordered the bark dip. While it was quite tasty, it was also extremely dry and overcooked. Each bite required a dip in the au jus to add some moisture. Additionally, the waitress informed me that the debit/credit machine was out of order and they were only accepting cash. To my dismay, I later realized there was no register available, so I didn't receive a receipt for my purchase, something the waitress failed to mention. The lesson learned here is to avoid dining in places that accept cash without providing a receipt. As a result, the beef dip has been removed from my list of foods to order there.

The packaging for the hot food is poor, as it sticks to the food and makes it less healthy.

Consistently delicious food made fresh, complemented by clever and attentive service.

The burger was good. meat all delicious and natural. 28 for burger and pommes. on the expensive side. Okay, one time. I don't see the worth in the meal.

I don't normally go to a Wimpy's Dinner but our group of 4 out voted me to go. But wow I am glade they did! The food was hot and very tasty, drink was hot. Everyone in our group enjoyed their lunch there. Staff was friendly and helpful. You get a lot of food for the money.
