Whole Foods Market - Markham

Whole food has some delicious vegan convenience foods. If you are looking for a treat, try their vegan oat flakes and mini chocolate chip oat cookies from the bakery. I think you are delicious!!! The mix berry vegan muffin is not my favorite, as I personally find it bland and oily, but you like it. They also have huge vegan soft pulps in bakery, SO good!!! In the deli section they have a vegan version of General Tso “Chickun”, which is amazing and some other vegan tofu meat try. You can ask for a sample. You also have vegan mochi, but I didn't try. Produce section is average quality, but they have good variety.

Lots of good selections here. Lots of desserts, creme brulee was good but not great, rice pudding was awesome.Mac n cheese from the hot foods counter was possibly the best i've ever had but i was shocked when i saw i paid 14$ for a medium cup.

I come here for certain goods I cannot find anywhere else in the neighbourhood. They have really good sourdough bread. Also, the sister their cranberry walnut sourdough bread is absolutely delicious! I like my sourdough less dry and not as hard and Wholefoods makes the best sourdough that doesn’t dry up easily like many artisans ones I have tried. They usually get dry and hard in 2 3 days, but not the ones from Wholefoods! They also have a really good olives bar. I come for the orange marinated olives and other marinated peppers as well which are quite good that I cannot find elsewhere taste even better than the artisan jar ones I buy at small Grocers. I also always buy their Organic Apples as they have quite a variety to choose from and also their Organic PURPLE meat sweet potatoes from California a superfood that’s sooo hard for me to find in the area. For this reason, I rate this store pretty high because I really can’t live without these products. So, thank goodness for Wholefoods for those reasons!

Love the service from the team there. They r friendly and caring. I was at the coffee station and the barista is working alone on an order from a customer and the lady customer was impatient and grumbled. However the barista was patient and didn’t take it to heart. When the impatient customer left, the barista set about doing her work happily. I’m so grateful she made a great cuppa for me.

Got the strawberry shortcake today, opened at home and so disappointed: 1. It is different from what I saw on the display 2. Fruits are not fresh, strawberries are black, blackberry tasted bitter 3. Cake itself is so dry 4. Cream is too sweet even in my kids opinion. It is for a birthday celebration and it ruined it. So disappointed.
