Sunset Grill - Markham

Great breakfast before going to Suresh Law office after a morning walk.

Being a contractor on the road present a challenge when it come to finding great food.So i do end up trying 2 or 3 different places.. then I'll pick my favorite and stick with them for the duration of my stay in town..The servings are large and done exactly as i had asked.. it's a busy restaurant but i never had a issue finding a seat.. the service is quick. One of the waitress would make me feel like i was in Paris france, from her smile and my coffee never going empty.I highly recommend ?

I've been coming to this location for 5 years!! Normally I have a great experience but on Monday July 3rd 2033 I went in at 9:30am with my toddler for the first time and I was disappointed by the level of service I got from staff members. The waitress Vivan or Vidian?¿ Was absolutely disrespectful and racist. I never experienced subtle racism before as Markham is considered a diverse community. My first encounter with the waitress was when I asked for a highchair after waiting for a seat for 15 mins. Vivian then told me to take a seat as my waiter would help me. I calmly explained that I need a highchair as my toddler was heavy to carry, the second time she walked away. I went back to my seat quietly and waited another 10 minutes for my waiter to assist me. From what I observed, I was actually seated in vivans section that she was looking after but she avoided me the entire time. I seen two other white families who came in and were seated immediately and were also handed menus without any wait time. After I was taken care of, I waited an additional 15 mins to get the bill. This place did not feel family friendly at all, and I will definitely not be coming back here as Cora's is down the street as well as eggsmart!! Please stop hiring racist workers and consider diversifying your team !

This place is very busy so i would suggest you come early because all the tables were full.They have new items on the menu.I would come back and try them.The staff help each other out and help the customers feel welcomed.It would be nice if they had outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful weather.

We did an impromptu Easter Breakfast and our server, Michael, was excellent. He was attentive, friendly, efficient and handsome too. The food was perfect and the atmosphere was as well.
