Went to this place on May.6th(friday) to celebrate early mother's day for dinner. During sitting, we were not told there is a ONE HOUR limit for dinner even though it is a la carte. We only knew of the one hour limit when we proceed to pay our bills where the waitress informed we only have one hour limit and anymore than allowable time is unfair to waiting customers. They have not consider I have elders with me who eats slow and require more sitting time to eat, have they not consider it is also unfair to our family and also other guests sitting eating as well? This is very bad business practice when you only allow one hour limit for each table to eat when you are not operating a ln All You can Eat restaurant. Food wise, I will give it 2.5/5 , the seaweed is hard to chew, the rice is mushy (as if the rice has been prepared overnight). The food (along with the Toro handroll) is less than average, there are places who are better and does not impose a time limit for eating a la carte. I definitely would not recommend this place. There are plenty options out there.
We had a t2 maki tray yesterday. We were surprised by the food. Cause we never seen rolls with these big size! We will definitely try more menus.
I was quite unhappy with this situation, especially since I had elderly family members with me who eat slowly and need more time at the table. It seems unreasonable to impose such a strict time limit on diners, especially when you're not running an all-you-can-eat establishment. This is poor business practice. As for the food, I would rate it 2.5 out of 5. The seaweed was tough to chew, and the rice was mushy—as if it had been prepared the night before. Overall, the food, including the Toro handroll, was below average. There are plenty of other places that serve better food without imposing a time limit on à la carte dining. I definitely cannot recommend this restaurant. There are numerous better options available.
I visit this restaurant whenever I have the opportunity because it's conveniently located near my home. The service is outstanding, and the food consistently meets my expectations. It tends to get busy, so I recommend arriving early. I really appreciate the booth seating options, which provide an authentic Japanese experience along with a sense of privacy. The atmosphere is very cozy.
