Eggs 4 Life - Markham

This restaurant is clean and is always busy the staff are attentive and the quality of the food was good.

Was told by one of two servers to seat ourselves. Waited 7 minute with no service even though a later group was sat down as asked about drinks. One server even served a table across from us twice and even looked at us twidling our thumbs with no drinks, no menus. We walked out after nearly 10 minutes of not a single acknowledgment. NEVER GOING BACK. My wife and I frequent all breakfast places all the time in Markham - never walked out before. Previous time we went there service was just okay but never thought it would reach this level.

If you are looking for a neighbourhood breakfast spot, try Eggs 4 Life. Breakfast (and lunch) offerings are plentiful and moderately priced. Be prepared for lineups on weekend mornings. They are open until 3pm daily.Seating is at tables or in booths. Can be noisy in busy times.Clean premises, open kitchen, friendly staff. I particularly enjoy the waffles with fresh fruit for brunch and the pea meal bacon on a kaiser for lunch. Hash browns or french fries are available and always fresh.

Needed a place to go for brunch, and this place was affordable and conveniently located. Good atmosphere/decor. I ordered the healthy lite breakfast (two eggs, yogurt, fruit, toast) and I enjoyed it. They were flexible to substitute my toast for home fries, which were delicious. The prices were decent.The service was a little slow; unfortunately there was only one waiter serving the whole joint and one chef in the kitchen. But with good company this was barely noticeable.

If they had an actual wait server I would come back. It was early, we had just played tennis and there were only 2 active tables. The other customer walked out after 25 minutes. She just stood at the back. I had to walk back there to get a refill and pay our cheque.
