Ban Ban Sushi - Markham

I didn't have a good experience with Ban Ban Sushi. Every piece of fish in my order was dry or old looking and the tempura tasted overcooked. Worst sushi experience ever! Never going back there again.

I try the Deluxe Chirashidon .Sashimi very fresh . Ban Ban sushi at Golden lion restaurant inside. Need to try this store ! This is new sushi takeaway good place to try .

Great price and generous portion. Nothing fancy but the quality is good. However, the place is so small and so hard to find within a Chinese restaurant. Four star out of five.

Had a 50% off deal for pickups from Doordash and decided to go on a short walk and pick it up for lunch! The location was a bit difficult to find, like some other places said the restaurant is locate within golden lion so can be confusing if you aren 't familiar with that. Staff were a bit confused with my order at first and had to make a couple calls but quickly figured it out no problem, A+ on the customer service. Not much to comment on the design of the place as there 's not much of a place. For my order, I got salmon lover (4 PC sashimi, sushi and a spicy salmon roll) and a shrimp tempura roll. The original prices of each were $22 and $6.49. The sushi itself was decent but nothing extraordinary, it was about what you 'd expect for your typical salmon. About average. The shrimp tempura roll was tasty as well but nothing special either. Although the sushi itself was decent, it 's quite pricey. In total the original price of what I paid for would be around $30, good enough for AYCE sushi. It 's fine that the sushi wasn 't spectacular (I wasn 't expecting it to be) but other sushi places can offer same or larger portions for sushi of around the same quality for the same price. If you 're in the area and need a quick sushi fix, I wouldn 't blame you but it 's an easy 10-15 minute drive for better places.

We stumbled upon Ban Ban Sushi while ordering Golden Lion so we decided to try them out. They are located inside of Golden lion. We ordered the 60 pieces party tray and it was awesome in terms of the quality we got vs. the price we paid. The sashimi was really fresh, good thick pieces and got some premium fish probably wouldn't have got if we ordered elsewhere. The sushi and the rolls were well made with a good portion of rice and fish. They are offering 15% off, so it's a great place to try.
