Parlour 1886 - Marion

Update: When I got home and looked at the sandwich, it was just chicken tenders, bacon, and ranch on a bun with no lettuce, tomatoes, or cheese. I have had better sandwiches at fast food restaurants. This sandwich cost about $13 and took 1.5 hours to make.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic, the hotel is beautiful, and the staff is top-notch. Don't forget to order dessert, it's a must!

The restaurant has a wonderful historic atmosphere and delicious food. The dishes are beautifully presented and the staff is very friendly.

Lovely prairie gem. Cocktails/wine menu, had grilled swordfish....over done by a couple of minutes. The salsa on top was just chopped items and should be eliminated. As local purveyor/seasonal ingredients a corn, summer/winter squash/apple item wouldhave been a welcome authentic addition to the sides, or swordfish topping. LOVE, the carrot cake....phenomenal, gorgeous andmouth party. I will return over and over.

We made reservations a week ago for a family birthday brunch at noon today with family driving from both Wichita and Manhattan to meet in Marion. Less than one hour before our reservation time I received a phone call from the restaurant saying they wereclosed ?due to staffing issues?! Both families were already driving to Marion! What a disappointment! Surely someone knewabout ?staffing issues? prior to 11:00 this morning.
