Amazing atmosphere (bathroom could be updated but is that really important? , superior service the two times I have visited. Chicken breast burger was perfectly seasoned and cooked to juicy perfection. I greatly appreciate the choice in roll for sandwiches. Bread pudding is much better than the Monkey Bread my daughter is addicted to. I believe the fries are hand cut? Fried are delicious and non greasy. Perfectly rounded menu so any guest can find something that will not upset.

Very very friendly waitress. Good food. Had the big Italian. Beef was a little dry. The radish that went with it was GREAT! Adorable decor.

I really want to give this place a second chance, but I'm terribly disappointed right now. It's kind of like going to see a movie that's been hyped up, only to leave feeling let down. Keep in mind I came here specifically for the food, so that's what I'll talk about. Otherwise this might be a great bar, I don't know. To start with, small menu, don't expect too many options, though this is typical for bar fare. I ordered the smokehouse burger which featured, as described in the menu, lettuce, tomato, gouda cheese, a special mayo blend, topped with a fried onion ring on a kaiser roll. Sounds great, looks great. I really enjoyed the fried onion ring, deep fried to perfection, however, it completely overpowered everything else. They need to consider paring it down from a 3/4 inch stack to thinly sliced to keep it in line with the other ingredients. I took a bite without onion, absolutely tasteless, except for the grease soaked bun, which tasted and smelled like stale, deep fryer grease. The ground beef was cooked to order, unfortunately it also was tasteless. The mayo blend had a good flavor but not nearly enough to compete with the onion and grease. There is so much potential with this burger, but poorly executed. A few positive things to mention about the experience: Hand cut, homemade fries, lightly salted and fried perfectly (wondering why they didn't taste like stale grease, yet the burger did) Good service, friendly waitress, comfortable environment Don't be in a hurry if you come here, service is slow, I don't fault the waitress, it appeared she was only one of three staff covering the tables and the bar.

The burger was great, which is usually a sign of competence in a restaurant. They also had a good beef sandwich, a little dry but the sauce they give you to tip it in is helpful. The chips are amazing, definitely order those things. I 'm a little perturbed about what this place is though...is it supposed to be a strip club? Upon entering you will notice the purple hue of the place, with a very cathouse vibe and some of the first flat screens ever produced (from the late 90 's). It feels like this place could secretly be a brothel. And, with a name like cathouse wouldn 't you expect some scantily clad women running around?Maybe it should be called Emily 's Beefhouse...well...that could actually still pass as a brothel. Either way, whatever this place is, it has some darn good food.

Not really sure why this place is in Marion but it's fabulous ! Decor is hipster punkish, bartender service was great. food was excellent just the odd duck in a small town swam by and had dinner while passing through. check it out NEAT JOINT DADDYO
