Avenue Grille - Marinette

If all you are looking for is beer and uninspired bar food, then this is just the place for you. Don't go here if you're looking for cocktails because anything beyond pouring a glass of beer is well outside of their abilities. Plus, the entire facility is definitely showing its age. This hotel is in dire need of updating.

Passing thru town, stayed at BW and was told their attached restaurant had good food. My husband and I went in for dinner on Sunday and were very pleasantly surprised! From our waitress Jen who gave some great recommendations for appetizers, to getting our drinks, waiting on all the tables, serving those at the bar and running the til, she was absolutely amazing! She was pleasant, great to talk to, kept coming and checking to see how we liked what we were having, and if we needed anything else. Did I mention she literally was running the entire front by herself......then to top.it off the food was excellant...we had jalepeno poppers which were great, nice and spicy and Jen recommended the white cheese curds which were amazing. The portions for those we nice, so we decided to just split a bacon cheeseburger with fries. The food was amazing, like every fry was crisp, and felt each were individually salted to perfection, the bacon which normally would be some fatty under cooked piece of pork was grilled to crispy perfection, burger seasoned great and perfectly cooked. We also just a side salad that was so fresh and crispy. Then to close it out we ordered some deep fried cheesecake balls with a fresh strawberry sauce not some gross jelly stuff which yiu normally atbsome restaurants this was YUM... The kitchen staff was on point, everything was great and was in front of us within minutes from ordering. Overall, this is a great crew, give them all a raise...if we could give 10 stars we would. Please stop in and have some food and drinks as the entire team from front to back were amazing!! Plus the food was top knotch!!! Thanks Jen!!!

We came on the family fued night apparently, it was obnoxiously loud and food came burnt. Waitstaff was not In a hurry to bring our food or drinks. I wish it would have been a better experience. When the Navy was there selling shirts, the atmosphere and staff was better.

My main complaint was the fact that the burger was not fully cooked, still pink in the center and that upset my stumuch to the point that I threw 1/4 left of the burger in the trash.... I will not be getting burgers from here

Suprising this little hole in the wall. Stopped to watch the game and grab a quick bite.
