The food and service have been consistently good and the value and ambiance are great. Staff and managers seem very accommodating and take care that you have good food and a good experience. Especially nice to be made to feel 'at home ' by manager Dena and staff member Seewan they 'look after ' us and ensure we enjoy. Lots of regular customers so that should tell you something.
One of the better locations. Not all of them are equal, this one is pretty good. Great daily specials for $4.99. Love the chopped steak with gravy, broccoli casserole, salad with Italian dressing (one of my favorites anywhere). A very good, economical lunch or dinner that allows you to see your food choices as opposed to picking something off a menu. They also do a breakfast buffet on the weekends that's very good and all you can eat.
Great!. We stopped by Piccadilly Cafeteria while I was in Marietta. I was a bit wary, since the sign looked outdated, and the only other location I know of in Atlanta with such an old sign is one on North Decatur Road that recently got a 66 score on their inspection. However, viewing past inspections for this restaurant after I got home, the lowest I could find was a 74, and the most recent was a 91. I can say that you can usually feel a place out for whether it 's kept up or not, and this one was. It was crowded full of people, surprisingly mostly younger folks for once. The decorations on the inside were really great for a Piccadilly; chandeliers, a kind of 'flowing plant garden ' it was a fountain at one time, but now it holds ivy: actually a nice touch. The layout was sort of similar to the one that used to be at Lenox Square, but much nicer. The staff was very kind and very helpful, even though they were extremely busy, we had several waiters and waitresses that made sure we were taken care of. The food, as usual, was very good. I decided to mix it up a little and get boiled okra this time; something I haven 't had since my grandmother made it when I was little. Needless to say, it tasted just like I remembered it, but what I had forgotten was the large degree of sliminess that naturally comes from the okra. I told my waitress and she brought me my mainstay, fried okra, for free. The tea was sweet, and all of the food was served hot. I came away completely satisfied, after seeing many smiling faces and a large amount of people who really enjoyed this restaurant. If I 'm ever in the Marietta area again, I 'll definitely stop by here. It doesn 't seem like such a nice place would be on Cobb Pkwy.
It was JAHRE since I went to Piccadilly 's and the food and service was great! Good house style south kitchen; from scratch! Has a taste and feeling of home; if your mother or grandma in the kitchen was cooking a good meal.
My family and I love going to Piccadilly. We live in Chattanooga Tennessee and unfortunately those in our area a few years ago, so we drive almost two hours to eat here. I'd be so happy if there's one closer we'll only go once a few months because of the long ride.
