Gun Room - Marietta

Hotel connected is amazing! Great breakfast in the Gun Room. Elegant place.. Very reasonable breakfast. Relaxing place. Another good establishment in Marrietta Ohio.

The restaurant offers a buffet-style service with customized omelets, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and fresh fruit. This delightful spread is available during their Sunday brunch. Diners should note that visiting at other times will provide a distinctly different experience.

Gun Room restaurant is a great place to visit for dinner. We, also, stopped in for their Sunday Buffet which adequate as well. Stopped in on a Saturday night which was busy. Food was delicious, I had the Shrimp Jambalaya and Caesar Salad. 10 out 10 on the food. You won’t be disappointed. Our waitress was another story. She, an older lady, appeared to be overwhelmed we along with other tables she waited grew concerned with what was going on with her and wondered why she made herself scarce. It got to a point to where we had (and other tables) hailed other waitresses to get meals, orders taken or even water refills. We still left a tip. Outside of that, you’ll enjoy the atmosphere of the Gun Room. You’ll enjoy the food. We would, definitely, stop by there again.

We ate breakfast one morning during a recent stay at the Lafayette Hotel. Delicious food and a comfortable atmosphere.

My wife and I make it a tradition to visit a different district in Ohio each week and enjoy a meal at a local restaurant during our trip. On our recent visit to Washington County, we celebrated our 50th anniversary by staying at the Lafayette Hotel and chose The Gun Room for dinner. The service was friendly, though a bit stretched, but the food was excellent! Overall, it was a delightful experience.
