Douceur De France - Marietta

My friends and I, along with our red berets, took a little trip to France yesterday, even though we never actually left Marietta. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. The food and service are consistently excellent. From the fresh croissants and jam to the quiche, macaroons, gourmet desserts, cappuccino, omelets, and soups, everything is simply delicious!

My go-to spot for authentic French fare and desserts!!! Most of the workers speak French too. It's been hard to find the real deal for mille-feuilles (Napoleons) since I moved to GA. I've had a few more of their pastries and little cakes. So fresh and delicious! There's a dining area and outdoor seating if you want to meet a friend for coffee or breakfast.

This is the best bakery I have ever visited. Every pastry is distinct and unique. So far, my favorites are the Neapolitan and almond croissants, though I haven't tried everything yet. They also offer full-sized cakes. I've been visiting the Marietta location on Saturdays for a few months now. Be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes for to-go pastries if there's a line outside, but it's definitely worth it. The staff is always helpful and friendly.

Where do I begin... Although we had to wait for a table, it was absolutely worth it. We started with the hot chocolate, which was incredibly rich and chocolatey. The Salmon Benedict, served with fresh fruit, was cooked to perfection. The fruit was genuinely fresh and added a lovely brightness to the dish. The chicken pot pie exceeded my expectations for what seemed like a simple meal; the chicken was packed with flavor, and the mushroom sauce was creamy and abundant. Be sure to leave some space for dessert— the crème brûlée was just as delightful as you would expect, and the crepes were a must-try.

This is the type of meal I want to spend my hard earned money on. High quality, and made with care and pride. From the pastries, to the food coming out of the kitchen, amazing. Service and staff was phenomenal as well. This is what a dining experience should be like. Server Evelyn was awesome too. Great vibes and atmosphere.
