Coffe was hot and tastie, food looked beautifully presented staff friendly and professional atomshere great

Visited for Saturday morning breakfast. Great food and warm friendly service. Would definitely visit again!

We had previously visited this place pre-covid and enjoyed good coffee and a hearty breakfast. The cafe has a lovely open setting on the main road. On this occasion we thought that we would just stop for coffee and a quick bite, as we were going out to lunch, to see if it was as we had remembered and if so return here for breakfast on another morning. Ordering was the first issue. The two staff members seemed to be more interested in talking between themselves than in taking orders from customers. We ordered two coffees and one croissant and paid by credit card without really taking much notice of the cost except that it was expensive. After we sat down I told my wife and she advised that I was probably charged for two croissants. She was correct. Second issue. Took ages for the coffee to be delivered and when we looked around to see what was happening we noticed them sitting on the bench waiting for someone to take them to the table. Not sure how long they had been sitting on the bench but we had been seated for over 10 minutes. As we saw them one of the staff members picked them up and delivered them to the table. By the time they arrived they were lukewarm and pretty ordinary in any event. Third issue. Croissants were very ordinary, Quite dense and doughy as if they were not fresh. Didn't return. Better places around.

Visited for brunch, very limited menu (if you can find a menu) unorganised staff, chef licking her fingers after dipping them in the food massive turn off especially with covid around. Only coffee, no other drink options like shakes or smoothies. Local customers who won’t be back.

Coffee was dreadful. Looked gross and tasted worse. Hubby and I couldn't drink it. Had a muffin that tasted OK but was very crumbly and hard to eat
