We ended up opting for take out and chose the Penne with vodka sauce, the brussel sprouts, and the truffle pizza. (I ordered a classic margarita with tajin, as well, which was great. All items were quick, hot, and delicious- especially the brussels.
We had a pizza and a wedge salad. They were above average. The wait staff was helpful and kind. It seemed the majority of the folks eating had pizzas.
I had high expectations but unfortunately those expectations were shattered. My group had drinks at the back bar and everything was amazing fun conversation with the bartender, yummy drinks! We were having a good time at the bar when someone at a table didn 't like how loud we were being, allegedly. A customer was rude and yelled at us and what made it worse is the manager came over and told us to never come back . We were being louder than anyone else so the only thing I can think is that the establishment is homophobic. The customers complaining we 're obviously more important than a group of gay people and the value was clearly placed. This is not a bar I will ever go to again and urge the lgbtqia+ to do the same.
The service and ambience were wonderful, the food was slow and spotty. We looked forward to the highly recommended pizza, but it arrived barely warm. BUT, the wedge salad was exceptional. I was disappointed with the wine list, but won't penalize them for it.
This place used to be one of the nicest in town. That is no longer. The service was not great and the food was meh at best. What a disappointment.
